Who are we? What makes us different?
In a world of seemingly unlimited choices – how do you choose who you do business with? That’s a question we all have to deal with today. And that’s a question we would like to answer for you before you leave this web-site. We understand that you have a choice – and we are honored that are you are even considering us as your marketing partner. So our hope is that you will choose Platinum Direct because you understand not only what we do, but who we are.
First of all, we are a group of experienced and highly competent direct marketing professionals. We began in business in 1994 with just 15 people primarily running mail machines for outsourced lettershop services. Today, we still provide lettershop services but have evolved into an integrated marketing services & technology company that offers sophisticated data services and digital color printing from a web portal, just to name a few of our latest services. We have combined experience of over 100 years in our management team alone.
Secondly, we operate our business on foundational biblical principles. We don’t apologize for making a profit, but we also do not exist primarily for the wealth accumulation of a few people. We exist so that we have the opportunity to work with excellence in our field and serve others extraordinarily. We believe that when we do that, we honor God in the process. And in the process of serving, we operate with core convictions (values) that drive our decision making. Our sincere desire is that these values will lead us to do the right thing for our customers, vendors, and employees, even when it may negatively impact our profit. Please see our Code page for more details regarding the vision, mission, and values of Platinum Direct.
Finally, we are an organization that sincerely desires to build long-term, productive relationships with our customers. We are astounded at the short-term view of so much of the business world today – and it is ultimately the customer who suffers from that view. Moving business around is disruptive, risky, and inefficient. This practice completely ignores the value of the knowledge transfer that takes place between customer and service provider over the time of working together. It also ignores the value of the relationships that are developed between the people that work together. This is truly a poor business model! Building relationships that last takes humility, hard work and perseverance, but it truly builds value for both companies. At Platinum Direct, we are committed to serving our customers with a long-term view in mind so that we can add increasing value to their company and to the lives with whom we come in contact.
